Ryan Danielson CIC, is the President of the Agency.  As a second generation owner, Ryan manages the commercial lines, personal lines, and life and health departments.  He is a Certified Insurance Counselor, which is the most prestigious degree offered through The National Alliance for Insurance Education and Research.

Ross Danielson CIC, LIC is a native of the Houghton/Hancock area. He moved into the Iron Mountain/Kingsford area in 1982 to establish the Danielson Insurance Agency and has been a resident of this area since then. Ross has attained two designations, his Licensed Insurance Counselor and Certified Insurance Counselor degrees.  His future scholastic goal is to successfully complete all requirements for a Total Quality Agency Degree.  This degree is geared toward overall agency improvement and customer satisfaction.

Insurance Experience Background

Ross is the founder of Danielson Insurance Agency.  Originally, the agency employed two individuals, Ross and one clerical employee.  Today, the agency employs eleven highly qualified personnel, not including him.  Out of the eleven staff members, seven are licensed insurance agents. Throughout the years, Ross has mandated continuing education for all employees.

Carol Ebeling is one of our two customer service representative for the Personal Lines Department.  She has been with Danielson Insurance Agency, Inc. for seven years and has 20 plus years experience working with the public.  Carol is looking forward to working with you with any personal insurance you may need.

Dawn Godfrey has been our receptionist since January 2003. She has over 20 years of experience working with the public. She answers six phone lines, greets customers, receives payments, does filing and takes care of many other tasks. She looks forward to meeting you!

Vivien Lamper has been with Danielson Insurance Agency for more than 15 years in commercial lines as an Agent/CSR.  She relocated to this area from Illinois in 1995. Vivien had worked at a Pharmaceutical company for ten years as a Pricing Supervisor. She enjoys working with the public and can assist you with your commercial insurance.

Beverly Englund, CLU, LUTCF brings over 21 years of Insurance & Investment experience to her clients. She retired from Prudential Financial Services in 2006 after 19 years. Jim Orlando is a native of Northeastern Wisconsin.  Jim earned a Business Management Degree from the University of Wisconsin – Oshkosh and managed a John Deere Dealership at Pound, WI for thirteen years.  Jim brings eighteen years of insurance experience to the Danielson Insurance Agency, ten years of experience as a John Deere Insurance Company commercial lines Account Manager and eight years with Sentry Insurance Company as a commercial lines dealer operations account manager.  Jim represents Danielson Insurance Agency for commercial insurance.

Benjamin Wood joined the Danielson team as a licensed Life & Health agent in 2010. His background includes working as a television news reporter and as the CEO of a regional health care agency. Benjamin and his family made the decision to settle in the Iron Mountain area because of the wonderful people and quality of living in the Upper Peninsula and northern Wisconsin.
